Not your Grandmother’s digital marketing Agency
Okay, we get it - this is not a fair comparison because digital marketing probably wasn’t in vogue when your grandmother was of age. Because, you know, the internet and computers hadn’t been invented. Unless you’re super young and your grandma is in her 30s. (In which case, go play Minecraft and let us do what passes for adulting around here. (>‿◠) We’ll join you when the work is done.)
But, if your grandmother had been in her prime when digital marketing emerged, she probably wouldn’t care for the f-bombs or unveiled irreverence we tend to subsume when writing. Unless your grandma is a total badass - in which case, we definitely ARE your grandma’s type of agency. If she can make purchasing decisions, give her our digits.
Establishing a Voice in Today’s Noise
We don’t go out of our way to be insolent or snarky - it comes to us naturally. And that’s why we’re okay with showing the world who we are. It wouldn’t be authentic for us to adopt a Sunday-morning style of writing (and trust us, when we do, it rings false without a lot of rework and some tears and more dolla bills from our client).
If our tone isn’t your style, that’s okay with us too. We’ll wish you well and happily pass you on to an agency that would work better for you. There are plenty of kickass, talented folks out there eager to scoop you up.
But, if you share a similar disdain for vanilla prose and are ready to spice up your marketing, we may be a perfect fit.
Because in today’s marketing milieu, it’s critical to have a voice that’s authentic and real more than it is to pay lip service to propriety.
And we’ve got plenty of spice to go around.
We’re in Good Company
I remember one of my clients asking about my marketing strategy. I showed him this YouTube video advertising the Squatty Potty. It’s racked up a cool 40million views and the Squatty Potty has done somewhere in the neighborhood of $175m (m as in million) in sales.
What does this have to do with your business? Great question!
Marketing should both attract your ideal customer and repel those who aren’t a match for your product or service. Adopting the right voice in your marketing is a crucial aspect to success.
Marketing strategies that incorporate humor, cheek, and even an inappropriate or risqué tone do surprisingly well if targeted and delivered to the right audience.
Luckily for you, we specialize in sass.
